Where's your sense of adventure... that's classified as high tech here in the Highlands.

Roll cloud over Woody Point

Back a few years ago now I was out with the K5 and the Sigma 10-20 f4-5.6 going wide out on the jetty. Whilst I was there one of those 'had to be there moments' occurred with a shelf cloud racing in from offshore. I aimed to get off the jetty to be able to include the jetty in the scene with the approaching front and this is what I could capture. It's a five image pano and it still wasn't all in.

Thank you good sir.

I found myself admiring the reflected light on your Loch Ness Monster attempt above. You nearly got me wit that one.

No intent to deceive on my part... I wish it had been the real deal, I'd have been retired living on my own island with a shot that close.

Beautiful capture - a very photogenic site. Lived in Brisbane a long time ago and a photo of this exact location was one of my first ever digital photos (taken with an Powershot A10 Canon digicam) that I uploaded to an online camera club. Not of this standard though of course - great memory.

A little fishing on a little jetty at Little Beach, Nelson Bay, NSW

Another with the K5 and the Sigma 10-20 f4-5.6 getting some triangular action going on.
