Welcome to Post Processing Challenge #250!
I am going to shake things up a bit and try something different for this challenge, so pay attention as the rules have changed!
***** NEW FORMAT *****
For this challenge I thought rather than the next host being selected by the subjective opinion of one (current host), we would try for more input.
The next host for #251 will be the entry receiving the most likes. In the event of a tie for first, the current host (me) will cast the deciding vote.
I will allow 5 days for entries and close the challenge to new entries on the evening of Wednesday February 28. Two days will be permitted for likes and comments on the entries, with me declaring the winner on the evening of Friday March 2. You do not need to submit an entry to vote (like an entry). Any forum member may "like" a photo and thereby be casting their vote for that entry.
You may enter multiple entries, but please enter them separately so that likes may be cast for individual entries.
We will see how this works. The next host is under no obligation to continue this method and may return to the previous method.
**************
The subject for this challenge is a night photo of Kansas City Union Station. Union Station opened in 1914. With declining use, it closed in 1985. In 1996, a $250 million restoration project was begun, with the station reopening in 1999. In 2002 it once again operated as a train station with Amtrak providing public transportation through the station and it is currently the second busiest train station in Missouri. The refurbished station hosts theaters, museums and various events and attractions.
The station is illuminated by lights with changing colors. This was taken during the blue phase. It was windy, so there is motion blur with flags and trees. Let's see what you can do with it!
