I did that on Amazon and B&H and didn't find any $3 lens hood, most of them were at $7.99 or more.

I'm in! I'm in!

To those who might(!?) remember me from 2 years (and a bit) ago, Hello fellas, long time no see.
Update about myself: I've moved to the Netherlands about a year ago, for the change of scenery and photo opportunities, you know

As for my single in lens, I'll pick my beloved DA 35mm ltd to get back into daily shooting. Let's see.

I had a look myself. The last one I ordered was from the bay for $3.99. I misplaced it recently but was fortunate that my local shop had one new for $4.99.

I'm going to give it another try this month. Should be a relatively quiet month for me, so hopefully I can do a lot better then my last couple of tries...
For a lens... I'm going to try a new da* 50-135 - I bought one for my daughter off the bay... had issues... took 3 months + to get fixed (gave her mine in the meanwhile). So got it back in early January and really need to take it through it's paces.

I am in also, hopefully a bit more consistent. I'll probably use the Pentax-M 40-80mm F2.8-4. It came with an MX and ME Super I recently picked up from the original owner. I am traveling with a student group at the end of the month so probably get flakey after the 26th. My wife is a teacher and takes kids to Europe every spring. My role as a chaperone allows opportunities for lots of classic tourist shots but not much time to process and post.

I've settled on the Jupiter-9 85mm. The main problem I have is the green hexagon is misleading and I have to use liveview to gert accurate focus... Oh for an old fashioned split screen!

Do you have a O-ME53 eyepiece adaptor? It's made a big difference for me.

I used to have one but it got broken in an accident (the same accident that almost did for my DA*50-135...) I'll look into getting another. I did have a split-screen for my K10D/K20D which was very helpful, but I have never got around to getting one for my K-3.

Hmmmm KatzEye have gone out of business. Just ordered a O-ME53 eye piece.

I have a newbie question.
If someone comments on my photo in my album and I post a reply/comment under it, do others or the comment writer see my reply ?
Never had anyone comment on my photos in the album until doing the single in.
Just want to know if I am replying or it is just wasted typing
