I thought I'd clarify what I meant on my first shot this month when I said it wasn't the shot I wanted. It was the flowers I wanted but the angle at which I took it was not the angle I wanted.

Oh, and Sandy, that flower has been blooming since January so no, it's not spring as you would think it was.

Real struggle to get keepers with my Jupiter-9 but when I do, they look good. One pain is the stop-down ring has been put back together backwards so one never knows the aperture. I think I might get it serviced after this month is up. On the other hand, I might just stick to one of my three Pentax 85mm lenses (SMC Tak / K / M)!

K.

I got nothing for today. Company, then computer problems, (not mine) my eldest brother's.

I'm gonna join late. Puppy is 4+ months old and acting like he has some sense, so I don't have to keep a constant eye, and I bought myself a laptop to complement my desktop, so it'll be easier to comment from anywhere in the house.

So far March is a "go" with the M28/2.8. @iheiramo - is that yours, too? Plus @mtux is back.

Imma catch up. BRB.

Yes, I'm shooting with M28/2.8 this month.

Nice to have you back.

This thread has dropped down to page two, so I'm bringing it back to the top.

My daughter is coming here Friday to pickup her two lenses and my little k-x ( ) I don't really want to give it away but she wants to try a DSLR out and I told her she could have it, on one condition, well, two actually, she never sells it and if she finds she can't use it or learn it, she's to give it back to me.

I should still be able to get Friday's photo even with all I have to do that day.

It is a little quiet in here!

I have shots for the past couple days, but haven't had time to post 'em. Daylight saving time is baloney, but I am enjoying the magical additional hour of sunshine after work! :-)

Daylight saving already? It's not even the spring equinox over there!

In other news, I missed the 13th due to work interfering with life. That makes three days out of fourteen so far
Still in the game though....

I've been bold today and tried out the 31 on the K-1 and all I can say is wow I never really got on with it on APS-C but I think it will be an April mount for SIC.

The 50 macro is a stonking optic, if I had access to an alloy 3D printer I would rebody in the older Limited style in an instant. The only way you can make it misbehave is to have the sun in the corner of the frame at wider than f/5.6 and you might see some green at the opposite corner. Resolution, contrast, OOF rendering are all there in abundance. I could complain about AF speed but that is down to the gearing and me expecting miracles from both it and the K-1. If anything I think it prefers the K-1 to the K-3 which has caused me to raise an eyebrow once or twice. I was going to say surprised but it would have been the wrong adjective to use as it goes way beyond that. I paid €150 for it and it is the best value lens I have I my bag under any criteria I can think of.

PS I will catch up on comments tonight hopefully. Thanks to all those who have taken the time to browse through my stuff, always appreciated.

S!

I got nothing today. Company this afternoon, bad news this morning about a great nephew who was killed on Monday night. I wasn't thinking photos today.

The past few days have really been hit and miss with me. Work has taken it's toll lately. I'm still in, but not commenting nearly as much as I'd like to.

Picked up an 'In Explore' for "Boom" and also the high ISO Pixel Shift "That's just stupid" so the FA50/2.8 showing it can still rock on FF and 36Mp and we have half a month to go. My personal favourite so far is the Onion (of those that I have shown).
