This is just a game. Go and do the stuff that matters.

In other news, I did some testing with the DA70 on the K-1. Wide open there is significant vignetting (a full stop) well into the frame at minimum focal distance as well as infinity. It doesn't matter whether the hood is extended or not. The image quality also deteriorates rapidly outside the crop frame. It improves a lot stopped down, but the DA70 is certainly not a proper full frame lens.

Take care! <3

I'm still in it to win it, just gearing up for a Lightroom marathon this afternoon. Weather continues to be cold and dreary so all my shots reflect that mundanity. I hope the weather and my inspiration both warm up soon, because the lens' performance is a delight! ;-)

My thoughts are with you and him. Like Sandy said this is only a game. We will miss you but you have more important things to take care of.

Pretty sure I could use everything SOC without feeling much remorse. Really outstanding.

My Hardwick Hall shot, from the 3rd, was a runner up in the National Trust challenge on Instagram this weekend. I'm pretty happy with that! I often tag a shot if I can fit the theme but have never been placed before.
Unfortunately, whilst 5k people have liked the NT post only 36 have like the original.... Never mind!

Ordered 2 M primes more and, now that I have correct amount of lenses, I made a shooting plan for the rest of the year. Can you already sign up for coming months?

M50/2 May
M100/4 June
M40/2.8 July
M28/3.5 August
M85/2 September
M50/1.4 October
M120/2.8 November
M50/4 December

Let's see, if I can stick to my plan and provide 365/365 shots to SIC this year.

Looks good Ismo! Now you really need a K-1 so you can use those babies to their fullest potential

My May lens is on the slow boat from the UK. Something exotic, and hopefully bokehlicious. I'll be shooting wide open all month as its aperture is not adjustable

I'm on my way to that. Need to go thru them on APSC format first and it's going to take some time. Also I still need to find and shoot M35/2.8 and M150/3.5 at some point.

I've been wondering. If I accidentally happen to buy K1ii before my first round is done, should I keep shooting SIC with K5 & K30 or use K1ii on crop mode to finish the first round? The latter is more tempting, but it might give unfair advance to the last lenses on the round and results would be less comparable between each other. I'm also constantly learning so later lenses already gain advantage in that.
