I have a Vivitar M 200 f3.5. Haven't used it much. Sounds like April will be the month for it. So, I guess I'm in.

I'll go with the Daily challenge for next month, just to try that as well.

My Single In efforts have been half-arsed at best, but hope springs eternal.

A few days I took delivery of a nice clean SMC DA70. I sold my last one (despite loving it) because I liked my FA77 even better, but now I have essentially separate full frame and crop kits I felt the need to fill out the DA limited collection. It will also get me out using my KP more, which can only be a good thing.

Also of interest will be how it fares on the K-1....

I really need to get over the compulsion to sell lenses I like just because I fell guilty about having too many

Please define "too many". I'm not convinced that state exists

I'm thinking about it... I recently acquired an A 28 - 80mm very cheaply and it would be fun to see what it can do. Especially paired with my new K5. I'll see if I get anything tomorrow.

coolness - manual zoom time!

I was out with the A35-105/3.5 earlier, getting her warmed up for tomorrow...

I should add that my daughter Catherine is getting married in our garden today. I have already made some early shots with the DA70, but I'm expecting to be *very* late with posting

Congratulations Sandy.

Having struggled with the Jupiter-9 85mm on the K-3 this month, I am going to go for something autofocus for a change. I bought an F50/1.7 a few months back to use on my autofocus film cameras which I have barely used, so that is my lens for the month.

I'm not sure I'll manage it, but I have a brick of film which needs using up, so I am going to use my LX with the M28/3.5 alongside the K-3.

Good luck all.

Kris.

Congrats Sandy!

Just decided to go and see what's up with the SIC and seeing your list of choices it seems as a hell of a month already. Looking forward to it.

I'm in.

As the nature is starting to wake up here, it's only just to follow it through with a macro lens. I'll be doing the month with a Schneider-Kreuznach Componon 4/50 lens. The way I'm using it now, it is no good beyond 4m but that might change during the month.

I've posted the first image of the month. I've decided to allow myself six frames a day for the parallel film camera although I lied earlier. I found out this afternoon that I have both the M28/3.5 and the K28/3.5... ops: I've loaded my LX with Kodak Tri-X, and decided to use the K28 as I have 52mm coloured filters (yellow/orange/red). I'll post them according to the day I shot them simply because I have my films commercially developed and scanned, so the lot would all be on a single day!

Good luck all. K.

Manual zoom people: How you got your cameras set?

Being fortunate to have the A setting on the A 35-105/3.5, I'm rocking TAv mode with SR off and the focal length set to some nonsense number (65mm). What are some other methods?
