I like the way you think. :-)

Great. I specifically placed that lens to the flower season, but I try to shoot also something else.

I'm already planning on hassling a lot of bugs... June will be a good month to get some use out of the ring flash my husband gave me for Valentine's Day a couple years ago. ;-)

if I don't have a new lens by then, I can join in the 100 Club with my copy of the A100/4 Macro...

As we have an M200/4 and an A200/4, I thought I'd join in with my K200/4. I've previously used the K200/2.5. K.

Made it back home last night after 6 months away, everything is so green here, everything planted last fall is coming up and blooming!

Do I use the 40 mm XS or something else? maybe my bargain bin takumar 135 to get all these flowers? I will decide by the end of the day.

Um.... I'll have a go. I'll keep it simple and start with the humble Cosina Cosinon S 50mm f2. On my K5.

I started out with the A 50mm f2, with deglassed 2x TC but it was too much magnification so I'm doing the month with just the lens and the DCR-250.

I've settled on the Pentax F 35-135. I haven't use an af lens for the last couple of months and having only just got this last week it seems like a good time to try it out. Lots of people seem to like it. Colours and focusing are good so far. It came with an old film camera that I've already sold on eBay taking the price I payed to just below my £15 threshold...
Does anyone have one and if so, do you use a hood on it and does it make a difference?

I impetuously sprang for a rather exotic offering recently, and it's tempting (although daunting) to give it a whirl in May.

Behold the Schneider - KREUZNACH Cinelux-Ultra 2/125mm. It's a cinema projector lens for 70mm film, adapted to Pentax 645 mount by The Bokeh Factory in Poland.
I've seen some of these or similar lenses at a local pawn shop and have been curious as to what can be done with them.

I thought I posted this a couple of days ago but evidently not. I'm in for May. I splurged and bought two $10 lenses on Saturday. One is the Pentax F 80-200 4.7-5.6, which I will be singling.

Totally missed the theme yesterday, but apparently I wasn't the only one.

I have successfully shot on both days, but have been too busy to post.

I didn't so much miss the theme as mis-read the theme. Where the instructions said the theme was in red I thought red was the theme for the first theme day. I also had the wrong lens. Having hastily decided at 11:30 the night before to take part I quickly picked what I thought was the Cosinon 50mm f2 up of the bench, put it on my camera, and found a starting shot. Wondering where the missing stop on the aperture ring was when transferring the first 2 days photos to my pc I noticed I had been using the Cosinon 24mm f2.8 . I thought I'd been moving in close to fill the frame.... having started out with this lens I'll keep going with it. And ogling 50's online...

I've created an album in flickr, loaded my first 3 photos, and found the BBcode to post a link - can someone tell me where to post it? and where I can see everyone else's photos? I thought there should have been a separate thread but can't find it. Or have I misread that part of the instructions as well? - quite possible seeing as I'm off to such a snapping start
