Seems I never left the starting blocks this month. Since other stuff keeps getting in the way it's probably time to take a break.

GAS has bitten once again. With a view to my forthcoming trip to Antarctica, I have recently invested in a Lee filter system, which will fit my previously un-filterable DFA15-30 and everything else with a thread of 62mm or more (and that's quite a few of my better crop, full frame and medium format lenses). I only have a polariser at the moment, but graduated ND's and big and little stoppers are on the way.

When the opportunity arises I might get all landscapy on ya....

So last night I was tired and bound and determined to post before bed and I goofed and put my shot for May 2nd in the thread for May 3rd. So do I leave it there and add another for today or confuse everyone even more and move it to yesterday and edit the initial post?

that is supposed to be huge on 15-30...but Lee is the way to go, if you want the best I suppose. looking forward what you will do with them.

It certainly makes a big, heavy lens bigger and heavier. I'm impressed so far with the engineering. Testing its functionality will have to wait until the ND's arrive from Adorama.

But it is definitely worthy of the 20K plus views.
