I've added the original pic. and link to file. I forgot to do that before, there is more involved in winning than creating a winner!

Since this has not garnered much attention, I'll put it out of it's misery this evening!

O/k, Jcomley did a great job, but I have to go with dino on this one, the detail he's pulled out of the Pratt & Whitney Wasp is just amazing. S well done Dino!

Here's my effort.

oh geez. I even had a picture worked up for this one... but had some "life distractions" and wasn't able to get mine in. .. At least it wasn't too much of a nightmare to judge! Don't be discouraged @tuggie76 ! I thought it was a great choice for a challenge!

Yeah, yeah, yeah! Easy to say after the fact astonm! But thanks for chipping in!

Lets see what you can do with this one, or is it a bridge too far?

@Tuggie76 -
Sure! - I felt a little weird posting it late, but since you asked - here was my not quite finished version. Looks a lot like yours! I was trying to do a fake depth-of-field thing to help clean up the shop distractions. It really needs a bit more work on the blur mask - tops of the canopy are a bit fuzzy still.. ~~Laurie

Okay Laurie, I'll let you off, your image looks promising, and the background is quite distracting isn't it.
