I'm using Firefox and some images I can access through the Challenge page and others give me an error page.

My internet provider informed that there has been some connection problems in the area and they are working on it. Flickr works perfectly at the moment. Don't know if these were connected or just coincidence.

A few years ago, I posted this image in SIC. I had created it with the idea of submitting to our town's annual contest.

The judge for our annual contest is writing a column about photography using the images he's seen submitted over the past few years. In case anyone is interested in some of my thoughts about creating the image, they are in this interview.

For those of you who are too shy to try contests , I encourage you to do so, the feedback you get from a good judge will really help you become a better photographer.

I'm still here but I went out for a few days and when I got back the computer won't recognize the memory cards. Put one in and the computer doesn't show it. (or images). I can see the images on the camera monitor but the computer shows nada not even that the card is plugged in. So I can't download until I get this problem solved.

OK. Got the problem "solved". For some reason my computer no longer recognizes SDHC cards so I bought a device that has a port for the card and the other end plugs directly into the USB port.

Hi all - I way over commited this month and tried to do three groups (single in, daily in, and a new film shooters group). Ended up burning out and having to step away from commenting for a while. Sorry for the absence.

I consider Single In to be my "home group" and am hoping to finish strong this month. Will catch up on commenting as best I can, but please don't be offended if I don't comment on your photos. I'm definitely reviewing, and flickr "likes" may have to suffice for now.

Just got back from a week in Colorado, although I mostly used the 18-135mm I did use the 40mm a few times. Now I have over 600 pictures to cull and process. Anything worth posting will be up later.

Hello again and apologies. I’ve been MIA for nigh on a week now. Everything suddenly went a bit bonkers and I’ve simply been running out of time. I missed one day but did get images for the remainder which I’ve finally posted to Flickr tonight.
I appreciate that I have a fair bit of commenting to do so I’ll catch up as quick as possible.
What’s worse is I still cannot access PF over WiFi on any device 😳. I have to upload to Flickr, copy the B.B. code to Notes on my phone, write a quick dit about the image and then copy that lot to the daily post - what a palaver !!!!

Anyway it’s nice to be back…for the last two days that is.
