The prime or zoom debate: answer with photographs!

I've been participating in the "where do pentaxians stand - prime or zoom?" thread.(this one here: https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/10-pentax-slr-lens-discussion/367541-pri...nd-2018-a.html ) Interesting thread, but getting a bit verbose for my taste.,,
So, I'll quote the OP:

QuoteOriginally posted by ChristianRock Quote
if you could have only one lens, would it be a prime or a zoom? And why?
and also Norm:

We need a poll to understand why people answered the poll the way they did
and suggest this thread be a pictures-only response to both the original question and the subsequent poll suggestion.
I'll start by crossposting the two images I already posted over there.

Remember: one lens (as many images as you like), images only (you may name the lens and camera).

An images thread! Wow!

So we just fill this thread with our own pictures taken with our single most-used lens? I want to make sure I know the purpose of this before I dump a pile of DA 18-135 shots on this thing.

Yup. Pile'em up!

Edit: the purpose is to see what you do/have done with that only lens. Hopefully we'll get a complementary angle to everyone's "views" over there.

I doubt I could do this but I would pick the DA 18-135. I would sorely miss my other lenses but I find that lens is superb for many shots and not bad for others. It is versatile which I would really value. I spent a lot of time shooting just a 50mm on film so I can adapt to a single focal length prime but I'm not sure I want to.

Hrm. DA 18-135 shots because it's the most versatile lens I own, or that dumb Kalt 28mm that I keep shooting with and forced me to actually get some idea as to how to use my camera...

From my collection I chose to live with M35/2, if I could have only one lens. These shots are from my Single In Challenge month with that lens:
