We camp on a pretty regular basis.

Fire is good entertainment for the boy. The is only a few miles from home but has a nice remote feel.
Great group of photos Matt - thanks for sharing.

We spent a great vacation travelling to this fantastic spot south of Sudbury. We hiked, went boating, and my daughter and I climbed a mountain where we picked blueberries and heard a bear doing the same. Lovely spot.

The following show the progression of my camping adventures. Started out several years back cycle camping, progressed through a VW T25 (great fun but a money-pit), via a converted minibus to the present old persons motorhome with all mod cons ( fixed bed, shower/wc etc)

You should be posting these on the glamping thread, not the camping thread ;-)

That's okay, I am just jealous.

nothing too glamorous about the early days!As you can see from the first pic several large beers were required to ensure any sort of sleep!

In 1993 and 1994, my parents invited us, including 2 of their 4 grandchildren, and their other two grandchildren, to spend a week camping with them at Petosky MI. This is what our combined campsite looked like {our half is on the left, and the orange tent was for the other two grandchildren}
