I managed to get one in too! To that raffle. Fingers crossed! Usually I don’t win, or if I do, it is not main prize...comb, or fruit or perhaps candy. But it is fun to try.

I'm tempted... but my track record tells me I don't have the time time. I'm mostly shooting every weekend or every other weekend right now.

I would rather see you weekends than not at all. I know I dont take it too serious. Maybe have a weekly challenge start up =)

I've kicked on from July and should be able to complete August with a bit of juggling. Good to see a slightly larger group of participants!

Going to sell my new to me silver K-70. I got it with 1700 shots and now is close to 2000. Camera is flawless and looks just like new. I would take a trade for a low count K5IIs.
Picture quality is great but I find the grip very uncomfortable, prefer the K5 type of grip. Putting it out for the "Dailies" first and would sell for $450CDN ($350USD), shipping depends on destination.
So you are selling the K70? The grip is that bad?

Its like a narrow slot to get your fingers in. My fingers are not fat but they feel trapped. I got it back out and tried again. took about another 200 shots and put it back in the box.
Its a risk I take as there are no stores here that carry Pentax, so cant get one in my hand to see. Would love to trade it for a K5IIs or a Lumix 25mm 1.4, but if not then sell it I will.

any idea of how the K-70 compares to the K-50 grip?

asking because when I moved from the K-50 to the K-3, I noticed immediately the difference in grip, the K-3 being beefier and much more comfortable in getting a grip on the camera that is unshakeable...

I have read that the grips are similar, been a while since I held a K50.
Now, this is where my lack of reason comes in......I never liked the K50 so I should have read a bit before buying the K70. I was looking at the KP but the lack of IR remote put me off and I don't have a cell phone.
