A few from this summer in my hummingbird and butterfly gardens...

Ruby-throated Hummingbird and Zinnias


Ruby-throated Hummingbird and tithonia rotundifolia 'Mexican Sunflower'


Monarchs and tithonia rotundifolia


Ruby-throated Hummingbird, bumble bee and monarda 'Raspberry Wine'


Eastern Tiger Swallowtail and monarda fistulosa


Carolina Mantis dining on one of the pollinators...

Vernonia gigantea 'Tall Ironweed' and an immature male Ruby-throated Hummingbird. Ironweed is a native wildflower in Ohio... the plants can grow as tall as 8 feet.


Green Fennel and a Ruby-throated Hummingbird looking for tiny insects


Loniceras sempervirens 'Dropmore Scarlet' trumpet honeysuckle vine and an adult male Ruby-throated Hummingbird


Great Spangled Fritillary and zinnias
