This is
not a contest.
There is
no voting or judging of photos.
I will provide one new photo assignment that you can choose to play with or not.
No commitments.
I will do my best to update this thread with new daily assignments that I will acquire using a randomization app that I discovered a while ago.
How will it work? Here's the plan.
First, the plan may change as we go.
I will post a new random assignment in this thread every day. These might include:
basic styles (portrait, landscape)
subjects (animal, car)
themes (happiness,reflections, the color red)
camera settings (28mm, shutter speed > 1/500, wide open aperture)
Then you have 72 hours to post your result.
I will post one new assignment, reminders for the two ongoing "live" assignments, and will close out the Day 3 assignment.
Basic other rules would include:
1. Post ONE photo per assignment (max 1024x1024). Please include the assignment at the top of the post or in the subject line.
2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme, and explain your interpretation if it's not obvious.
3. The photo must be taken after the assignment was posted. No archival photos, please!
4. Please do not post unless you are contributing a photo. Thumbs ups are welcome, but no posts with comments only, please.
5. Any Pentax camera and/or lens can be used. Please state what gear you used, especially if it's important for the theme.
6. No judges, winners, or losers. Only ideas, photos, and fun.
