Abundant Life Building
This was built in 1958 to serve as the Oral Roberts Ministries World Headquarters. It was abandoned in the 80s after his university was built, and was affectionately known as the Derelicts Diamond Tower as the homeless began to squat there until the David Horton Ministries bought the structure in 1997 and sealed it. The city of Tulsa now wants it razed. Second image taken after it was completed. Reminds me of soviet era moderne...

That's great - the façade has deteriorated, but the flags are still flying!

A typical bus shelter in southern Chile - this one has some broken windows but most are quite well maintained. It's a very windy part of the world so they really are needed. It would be interesting to know where the design comes from. I saw a gatehouse to a community in Florida that looks just like it.

I remember when that was "modern architecture". Sort of a last gasp of post-war experimentalism before everything became orthogonal in the early '60's.

Two older buildings in Whitney, both past their primes.

We were vacationing in the Thousand Islands area between New York and Ontario when we drove past this abandoned railroad station; I couldn't get inside to see if there is a sleeping princess in there.

Lake Dolores Waterpark is an abandoned waterpark off Interstate 15 in the Mojave Desert east of Yermo CA. It operated under numerous names, including Lake Dolores, Rock–A–Hoola Waterpark, and Discovery Waterpark. In mid-October 2018, the abandoned park was the victim of arson, and many of the remaining buildings, including the Lazy River Cafe and Arcade, were burned to the ground.

The Holland Marsh is located about 50 minutes drive north of Toronto, and was drained and then settled by Dutch farmers in the late 1920s. It's still an active market gardening area, but some of the older buildings are still left standing.

Even an old tracked tractor still sitting in the shed
