This is from a long while ago and taken with a crappy phone camera (not the current crop of great phone cameras at all) but it is my fav shadow photo of me. this was the sun just rising and I was between it and a wall that was some sort of very uneven rocky surface. It made a very weird texture. The colors are as the camera saw it, not necessarily exactly as it was. Again, it was a crap camera.

Actually that's a happy accident with the colors. I really like the shot and agree it is quite good. Technical qualities are a small part of image impact.
