I'm thinking of a zoom, M 75-150 or M 35-70. I know the 75-150 is good but have only just acquired the 35-70 which has very good reviews....
I have the A version of the 35-70 and it is pretty nice - some day I'll get around to Singling with it (but not September)...

I... may be in.

All being well and no work or personal disasters supervening, I'm going on a Disney cruise with my family. I've decided on a kit of the DA18-135 on the K-5 and possibly the DA50 for if the lighting gets poor. I figure 18mm and f/3.5 is wide enough in both aperture and field of view that I can leave the DA15/4.0 at home.

I am not completely sure what sort of internet there is on the boat, but I'm taking a tablet that would let me transfer shots, and if I get any good ones you might see me taking part this month.

Looks like I'm doing a bunch of portraits in September. I've asked friends on Facebook to allow me to make portraits of them, to stretch both my skills and my flash/light management mojo. I'm in the process of setting up appointments now, and I've purchased a first-ever reflector to experiment with. These pics will be done on-location, with existing light, the reflector, and one or two speedlights reflecting into an umbrella, if needed.

So, with all those variables going on, I need to be able to totally depend upon the lens. I'm going with the DA* 50-135 again.

Fantastic lens. Good plan on the portraits too. I'm very keen to see how this comes out.

Have found out that on-boat WiFi might be expensive, so I will probably have to post the pictures of the relevant days in the relevant threads when I am back on dry land. Depending on how I feel, I might potentially even run with the DA50/1.8 for the month instead.

I'm in for a good old fashioned Single-in-September. My crazy summer work schedule should be winding down and it's the time of year we get epic sunsets. Leaning towards using the 31, but have also wanted to do the A70-210. or the 90 macro. Could also do the FA50 1.4......

Am I crazy to think the $8 Tokina 35-70 f.3.5-4.8 could be my choice? I'm really not fond of manual focus but... it would put it through its paces.
