One of my ex-girlfriends and I used to go down to Cherry Beach 50 years ago. Makes me wonder, what ever happened to "Weird Heather", her name around the hood.

for the summer months there are sunday raves down there , 35 years ago my experience was less nice as a young punk going on the cherry beach express with 2 cops who later were fired for such things (a phone book beating and leaving you there in february with no shoes was my treatment... because i was on the street near where a muffler shop had a window kicked in and they didn't like the way i dressed (leather jacket etc) ..i was actually on the way from a speakeasy to a friends loft..

55 division was famous. Even my kids out in Mississauga told everyone who would listen, "Don't ever go to into the area around 55 division."

Went out recently to get a nice dark sky in a very dark area for a clear milky way shot over the snowy landscape - carried my ski up to the end of the road through the night to get to a good spot. And what did I end up with!? This ...
