Here's a shot from last winter. Tried some "snow covered trees in smowy surroundings on a foggy day" shots and found them quite a challenge to process. So here you can have a go

Do whatever you want, as many entries as you want. The challenge closes on Thursday, December 13th at 17:00 UTC.

what a sweet file! just a basic pass here experimenting with retinex tools in rawtherapee... intend to be back for more..

developed mostly with rawtherapee and using its haze removal tool (maxed out)

another pass with just the intention to thrash it in as many ways as possible until it begged me (repeatedly) to stop

I call mine "Frozen Lake" -- processed in Photoshop CS6, "lake" reflection added by selecting, transforming by inverting vertically, using Topaz Studio "Impressionist" filter.

Sorry, I couldn't figure out how to get the image in this message.
