Film Shooter Challenge: January 2019 Discussion Thread

Since we are at the end of the second week of December, it's time to open the Discussion thread for next month; January 2019.

Bring your discussion ideas here for themes and/or challenges for next month's Film Shooter Challenge.

Remember: This challenge is not brand specific, if it shoots film, it's fair game to be used.

Haven't seen this challenge before? Click here for the group.

Some of the challenges we've had thus far:

Telephoto
Wide angle
Extreme ISO
Consumer color
Chrome (Positive film)
Single in: (ie a single piece of equipment used for the challenge all month)

How about "collect a color" in which you pick some thematic color of your choice and then shoot a roll of color film (print or reversal) in which every frame has a different subject or overall background of that color. Then post a few of the top picks from the roll.

It should give the creative juices a workout and it has the added bonus of learning something interesting about the film's color response such as whether all "reds" recorded the same way.

A variant might be "collect the rainbow" in which a 36-exposure roll must be shot as six images each (or 4 each of a 24) in the red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple themes.

Either would be a real challenge!
