Hmmm, if you join, I should consider joining as well. It had been more than two years ago, and I hardly took any pictures last year.
Please do! Your daughter must be just about a grown-up by now

I think I'll try my Pentax FA 35-105mm macro this month, pairing it with my K-5.

This morning I had to choose between two lenses (well, in the end): the Helios-44M and the MIR-1V, both Soviet products.
I chose the Helios, but I was pleasantly surprised - again - by the capacities of the MIR. Here the comparison between both, and both wide open...

I feel a little rusty using a manual lens.....
It took me some minutes to figure out why there was a manual/auto switch

I hope to participate with my K-S2, Lensbaby Sol 45 and sometimes with the addition of a Raynox 150 or Raynox 250. I have captured very few images with the Sol 45. Best wishes to all.

Tbh, feeling a bit intimidated by all these 'names'.,. I'd better up my game.

Ollala, I will try to pick up the game once more.
Long time not being active though.

My lens will be the Pentax 67 M* 300mm F4 ED.
I still do not know if I will stick to my Pentax K-1 or if I take it someday on the Pentax 6x7 (yes its FILM), the Pentax 645nII (that is film too) and the Q7.
So if I grow bored of the K-1 I will use something else and if I go analog, it might take some more days before the film is developed (home dev and home scan)

I'm looking forward for this month

Managed to shove myself away from the desk and go for a short walk, I hope to have a t least one usable shot for SIC and the Daily In as well as a result.

Congrats. Me too :-) with the wagtail - nice surprise first thing in the morning.

---------- Post added 3rd Feb 2019 at 12:10 ----------

Over on Flickr for my Day 2 image Sandy commented with:
"I'm intrigued by the use of the teleconverter. Surprised that it works with AF micro-adjustment."

If anyone else is interested in this I just sort of tried it out.
My test shot after fitting the AF Adapter didn't seem very sharp so I did a quick experiment with text on my laptop screen.
With a A lens fitted you still get the "Apply All" setting in AF Fine Adjustment (C4 25 on the K-1).
Setting it to +5 (after experimentation) certainly made a difference to my set up.

The main thing I have to remember now is to set it back to "Apply One" when I next fit an AF lens.
