I'm working in Bulgaria this week and the Pentacon 300mm will put me over the hand luggage weight limit, so no more pics from me until next weekend.
Who needs underpants? Especially in Bulgaria?
Or toothpaste?
Come on - you can trim essentials

I suppose I could wear my kilt. Wouldn't need the underpants then...

Just use the Pentacon 30mm f3.5 instead

back at home, feeling like a toast which was almost nice crispy when it had first time been bounced from toaster, but then it was put back in to get better color and crisp. Crisp it is and smoky...

Nearly home and nearly have enough internet access. Will be catching up on a week of posts. Sadly, Death Valley was beset by flash floods just before we arrived. That coupled with a total lack of spring wildflowers severely limited my shooting options and ... it was cold!. I went to the desert to be warm and instead had to deal with mud slides, too much water, and cold temps. Well there's next year...I did get a few decent shots. Oh, the DFA*50 was surprisingly versatile there.

a note on comments: please keep them either on-topic (lighting, focus, composition, etc) or clean.. I don't mind puns or sly remarks about my photos, but off-color, locker room, political, or religious remarks are not appreciated and will be deleted from my Flickr pages...

Ooo boy, I'm quite exhausted still, just posted some photos, will try to catch up slowly during the week.

There will be another jump like this by las week of this month. But for that working trip I will fly. I think that I will try to keep up in game still. Just slowly

Hooooo boy. Been lagging behind in checking out and commenting on, everyone’s photos. Catch-up took some time.

Well-spent time though, I must say.

Back home after 4 days away for work. Not much shooting was done, but tomorrow and the weekend should offer some opportunities to safety my way out of the slump. Terrible traffic detoured me through a beautiful comer where three states meet along the Potomac river, I need to go back earlier in the day when I have time to get some pictures.

I'll be away for a few days. I may post anyway, but I may also wait until sunday to post the images taken. Apart from the Zenitar I am taking a Domiplan 50mm 2.8, A Fujinon 55mm f2.2, Sigma Super Wide II, Vivitar 135mm 2.8 (Komine) and the DA 35mm 2.4

so.... my Sigma 20mm arrived back from Adorama today and the first thing I noticed after unwrapping it is a big ding in the body of the lens that wasn't there when I shipped it...

before (note the edge just under where the hood bayonet mounts):

and today:

I have already emailed Adorama, but it was late in the day and I do not expect to hear from them until tomorrow morning.....

(really frustrated with them)
