Great thread idea Charlie.

Some buildings in Melbourne.

Station Pier, Port Melbourne and CBD (K-S2 + DA 18-135)


Melbourne CBD. The spire on the right is the Victorian Arts Centre (K-S2 + DA 18=135)


Flinders Street Station (K-S2 + DA 55-300 PLM)


Court of Appeal, Victoria (K-S2 + DA 20-40 Ltd)


Supreme Court of Victoria ( K-S2 + 20-40 Ltd)






Royal Arcade. Gog and Magog clock at one end, Time at the other. (K-S2 + 20-40 Ltd for the first two and K-S2 + DA 55-300 PLM for the third)

Yes, it does look rather less sturdy than one should think desirable. There's not that much seismic activity there, but it's definitely more than zero.

Looking up the façade of the office block next to where I work (although I didn't know that it would be so back when I took this).

Not a terribly good picture, but the architecture is quite interesting, I think. This is the opera house in Oslo. Not sure how well it will do when the sea level starts rising
