With the crop the image is more balanced and less disturbing. It is also more restful and therefore could be considered more appealing. What we would be seeing is the suggestion of someone enjoying a nice drink in some warm evening or morning sun. Without it adds a sinister element to the image. The addition of the photographer's shadow suggests a voyeur is at work, and you begin to sense the start of a story. Crop or not? Hmmm. Not sure on this one.
