Shot on film around 1980, using a Ricoh XR2s and a Vivitar 90-230 zoom. Rested the camera on the roof of my car as I didn't have a tripod with me.

Nighttime in Wyoming, in Monstro's big brother. About to overtake a WalMart truck.

The blue and red lights in the upper corners are lights in my sleeper that reflect on the inside of the windshield. Together the red and blue combined to give a nice subdued purplish blue light in the cab. That made it easier on my eyes while driving at night. The eyes get used to the absolute darkness of the wide open spaces of the West, and some idiot with those "fog lights" and extra bright Zenon headlight bulbs rolls up behind you, his extra bright illumination reflecting in those huge mirrors big trucks have, or you meet one going the other way who doesn't dim his high beams.

And it looks cool too.

Thank you.

That is a cumulative effort from many years of film and digital experimentation.

I used to do that back in my film days. Canon A1 with Sun(?) 24-40 zoom and K64 in the camera. I still have those slides packed away.
