Blended: show me your texturised photos

There are so many threads in this subforum, but I couldn't manage to find one completely devoted on photos with added texture. There are many fine (and not so fine) examples of this out there on the world wide web, and I thought it would be nice to have a dedicated thread on this topic here at our home forums. Please, tell me if there is a thread already for this topic, there is no need to have more threads than necessary in this Mini-Challenges forum. I will then remove this one!

I can hear some of you think: "Texturised photos???"

Texturised photos are a blend of two or more photos, from which at least one is a texture (some random or regular pattern). This process is mostly - almost exclusively - done in post-processing. Most photographers will use Photoshop for this, but there are other fine programs, like the free GIMP. Flickr harbours several good groups which are dedicated to this type of pictures, like this or this.

I only recently started with texturing photos, so there's a lot to learn. This is the place to encourage, to learn, to mildly criticise, and to ask. Please, feel free to add your examples of texturised photos!
For now, an example of my own (still small) collection of texturised photos.

Good idea for a thread. It is fun playing with textures. I’ve only done a few, though, and it’s been a long time. I’ll post an old one. I think this one is posted in a thread somewhere else here.

The compositions are nice and they show the difference between a photograph and a graphics art project.

My first attempt can certainly be filed under "not so fine" but I begin to see the possibilities. It could be that the best of these start with a photo that distributes compositional interest across the frame, rather than one intended to draw the viewer's gaze to a certain spot.
