En route, early in the morning, (EXIF says 06:39) to Addo Elephant National Park, I stopped at Swartkops River Mouth, for a few sunrise shots, and heading in a westerly direction, came across this one.

Regrettably, I only shoot JPEG, so that is what you will have to work with. Look forward to your submissions on an image is is underexposed.

Another lovely image to work with. To me, this image evokes feelings associated with places near my birthplace (in Arizona) as well as parts of Spain, Italy and even Ireland's west (the marshy foreground, especially). Nice.

Had a bit of fun with this going for a vintage look, added the smoke, sepia toning and grunged it up in Capture One, then over to Analog Efex for the wet plate texture and dirt/scratches.

Pardon this is a bit late, its been a busy day.
A few comments on the entries. Good grief, I've seen it all, and can't help feeling sorry for my image, its hardly recognizable anymore

Photocles- Lovely, I like the rich saturated colors on this, and a sense of complimentary colors achieved.
Graeme83-Kudos for making me feel young again. Fait accompli with vintage look, totally looks real and grungy, and so suitable to an industrial scene!
Glenn5995-I'm coming for lessons in PP! Composition and crop have worked ever so well, and you've made it so crisp!
Tuggie76. Well you know, Addo Elephant National Park is not far away, and perfectly possible. Nice effect with the smoke.
Savoche- Well now, no need to feel sorry, other than that the impala will suffer lung diseases and the like. Much stronger juxtaposed than the original.

Hah, fun to get to try a composite - I don't think I've tried that before. After having watched a few youtube videos on Photoshop (I think Piximperfect is good) I realise that I have barely scratched the surface on this topic.

I apologize for the delay in getting the next challenge going. Work has not permitted me any time for photography to get a good image for the next challenge and I have pretty much exhausted my archives. I hope to have some time tomorrow night to try and come up with an image to work on. If someone has an image ready and wants to host the next challenge, please feel free to do so.

No worries - it gave us all some time to "collect our thoughts". In my case, those thoughts were probably about white balance.
