Sorry, Sandy, but I decided to go a different path: I probably will use the Zenitar 16mm F2.8 for April. It's more versatile, and I expect much time indoors, and a F3.5 lens will be too challenging. Besides, I am in for something wider, to make some shots of our new house too.... Probably another month, my apologies again....
I'd be up for a Russian 50 month at some point in the future with the Industar Fidely Fifty™.

I've had two fifties in a row, so no fifty in April for me. Monday will bring clarity. I have one of my recent acquisitions in mind but have not decided yet.

I don't know. This month (March) hasn't been as good as the one before with the Helios, and it definitely was to blame on the lens for a part. And I had no energy to comment, too much distractions at work. I'd love to participate in another SIC though, also because I bought me a new camera the day before yesterday. My beloved K-5 starts to disintegrate, showing several malfunctions lately. So, I decided to go for the Kp. It will arrive in a few days, maybe 2 weeks. The longer delivery time is because the free (!) 55-300 lens they offered has to be ordered elsewhere. But I'd love to try the new camera, with a vintage lens...

Two days more to decide, but probably I will be in...
You won't be disappointed with the KP.
It's tiny.
It makes both the K3 and K5 look primitive!

I wasn't thinking of April. I've also just done a 55 followed by a 50. Although I'm tempted by my recently acquired M 50/1.7 I'm thinking of something completely different like the F 35-105 or the DAL 50-300... Or the DA 18-55 that came with my new K5. Or the DA 35. Or the Hoya 25-42 that might arrive on Monday.

Oh well, no closer to a decision.

I already guessed it wouldn't be a too massive disappointment....

I’m in again. For April I’m going to explore the M28 f/2. Should be fun.

Facebook Memories just reminded me that 5 years ago today I finished my first Single In Challenge with the M135/3.5. I think I'd like to do a special anniversary episode for SIC April 2019, after so many years of experience shooting and processing, and the upgrade to Full Frame. :-)

As crummy as some of the pictures are technically, that first SIC was an awesome experience. I don't think I'll be able to top it!

Having used telephotos for the last couple of months I'm changing the viewpoint with the SMC M 50m f2. This is the lens that came with the K1000 that I bought for my 21st birthday. Not the most recent 21st birthday, obviously. Or the one before that, or the one before that, or the one before that........

Looking forward to it myself. I have used it a few times but not enough to learn it yet. Should be a fun month.

Took March off to get my K1 upgraded. So, to thoroughly shake it down, I think I will jump in with a M50/1.4. Might even break out the extension tubes for close up.

Well, that is not good to hear but one has to do what one has to do in life. I'll miss your photos and your comments, Sandy.
