Here's some stupid post-processing done on top of stupid shooting. These are shots taken at night combining slow shutter speed and (mostly vertical) camera movement. Given what the JPEGs looked like, I was amazed at what I was able to get out of them. More experiments than anything else.

DA55-300 on KP 800 ISO, f7.1, 1.6 sec.

DA55-300 on KP 800 ISO, f7.1, 2.5 sec.

DA55-300 on KP 800 ISO, f7.1, 2 sec.

Thought I'd make another attempt at turning day into night.

First a straightforward conversion to b&w (the horribly blurred edges are due to the CCTV lens used for this shot)

After some added "overlay" layers and gradients:

On a 3 second remote timer, I removed the camera from the tripod straight after pressing the button because a heavy shower hit (non-WR lens) and I got this first image. Topaz and LR and boredom got me to the second one.
Edit: The lens was WR, I was not WR, or willing to be

Thanks. I nearly deleted it, then I saw the heart shape generated by one of the peddles and went to play with it.

I intend to have it printed on canvas 8x18" at some point. The outer border will complement the wallpaper in it's intended location

Original.

Using the "Blue Sky" brush in PS Elements. You basically just sweep the cursor across the sky, and the blue will fill in.

Using the adjustable "haze reduction" at maximum after the Blue Sky. It will increase the blueness, so you have to find a happy medium. Just use the slider - there is a preview window. This is a bit too strong.

Original.

Next shot touched up.

The Blue Sky does not work well with subjects like tree branches.

Cheers.
