Holy moly, I've just realized a failure. I put in my card to import the RAW images to Lightroom and was a little confused at first because the file numbering started over (9999+). I imported the new 000X files, but forgot to look at the tail end of the 999X files, so I lost the shots I took on the 3rd.

Luckily, the subject matter for that day is a large and immobile county feature, so I've decided to allow myself to go back and re-shoot it.

Technically, for Single In Challenge purposes, it's a miss, but spiritually I'm going to be at peace with it.

Please learn from my mistakes.

No photo yesterday. It rained from the time I woke up, and stayed raining til after I went to bed. I know my camera is WR, but the the lens isn't and neither am I. And no, I don't own a rain suit.

In an effort to capturing a classic lightning over the canyons and mountains shot , I purchased a Pluto Trigger. It sill be useful for other "trick" photosthat interest me as well. I hope it shows up on time, and I hope it works as advertised.

No photos from me for a few days. I've had to go to Hungary to do an engineering study. No space in the bag for camera and lens, and little chance to take pictures anyway.

Hmmm ... photo theme for today strikes me as a month late: spring/autumn - when it's already winter down here, and summer up there.

...

Just got an idea though...

A couple of days ago I was handed a project that was supposed to be ready in the beginning of the month. Not much time available for last couple of days as I've been pushing long days and will continue to do so thru the weekend. I'm afraid this not gonna be my best month. Too often need to rely on cheap shot that can be taken quickly. I'll keep on shooting something everyday and hope I can step up in my performance in latter part of the month.

My Bee and Blooms shot and my Stargazer Lily shot both hit explore within hours of each other, very interesting phenomenon.

My Pluto Trigger and the Lume Cube accessory carrying case both arrived today, which gives me almost a week to try out before I choose and pack the gear I'm taking for my vacation.
