My mother in law passed away suddenly today so I'll be in and out of posting for the next couple of weeks. She was truly the best mother inlaw ever.

Bleeding ulcer Doc said. Put me down two days. He gave me some pills yesterday to help out until I can see a gastroenterologist.

And new tripod is too short. Unless I have a chair to sit in, it's useless inside so I'm keeping the Manfrotto near the window because it's high enough I don't have to stoop to shoot the birds on the feeder.

There is going to be a big pile of stuff soon at marcetplace from me. Selling most of old stuff and my APS-C cameras...have been dreaming of 645 Z. It could be a dream with primes...just leaving limiteds and 50/2.8 macro,15-30&70-200 (maybe also 55) with K-1. Big thing. But yeah, let’s see how it will work..

I have a new tool for the toolbox. A K-1 (mk 1) arrived today. I'm looking forward to seeing what it can do. The trusty K-S1, which I have really enjoyed using for the last couple of years, may end up in the sad corner of the shelf fairly shortly.

Well 2/3 of my jokers month done. It’s proving quite a fun theme overall, though sometimes I’ve struggled to do anything I think interesting.

Thanks, yes. I believe that there is only one way to find out what it is like. And for selling my ohter stuff, they are collecting dust anyway so hopefully some one will be able to actually use and enjoy those things.

I don't know when I'll be back in. Got a kidney problem along with the bleeding ulcer. Kidney hurts, ulcer doesn't. But don't feel like taking photos with the pain I'm having.
