One of my favorite themes is light and glassware
Red Dragon
Yay for craft shops for unique and compact lighting,
white Bottle DI 03
as well as decorative glassware
Crystalline Light
hardware stores have some great LED shop lights that can add to the options
Double Red
Spiral and you are only limited by imagination making even the mundane Glass blast Off
a bit otherworldly
Burning Glass
but they way we use glass varies from creative
Singing Hands Black and White

to the practical Repeal Appeal

In the northern hemisphere, it is almost autumn, the sunlight comes in at more of an angle now, making everything glow a bit more.

Bottom of a Vase
I've said from time to time (by way of explanation to friends and family about why I like to take pictures), that my purpose is to be able to show other people what I'm seeing. They're too busy, too distracted, too worried, and too hide-bound (or "functionally fixed") to be able to really look at things. They're missing the wonder and joy of being alive by their intentionally-stunted awareness.

This picture is an example of the kind of thing I'm talking about. Who has time to notice that the bottom of a vase could be so beautiful?

Thank you!, This particular one was rather beautiful, and demanded lens exploration!
