I have just acquired a Cosinon Auto MC 50mm f1.7 from a well known internet auction site for under £10, so that's this months lens. Looking forward to seeing what it can do.
Score! I look forward to it.

Nice to see so many participants this month, but commenting every shot takes some time. I'm not sure if I can manage it every day

So then. Printing then. My leopard spotted shadows from the other day then...

Mrs tsuken was back I. The office supplies shop yesterday to order me an office chair and filing cabinet, and while she was there she spoke to the guy about setting up a business account - mentioning our weekend purchases.

The guy looked at our purchases in their system ...

"You bought a printer, and some glossy paper ... you didn't try to print on that did you?"

"yeah"

"So how did that go? Pretty bad?"

"yeah"

So... I was right to attribute cause to the paper. Refund for that, and we'll get some Brother photo paper to match our Brother printer.

So we should be good.

I'm dipping my toe in this month with the smc PENTAX-FA MACRO 100mm F3.5. I actually started to join in last month. I only missed one day in August but I didn't post anything. I'm struggling a bit and I hope that committing to the SIC will help.

( in the fine print is does say you can miss a day) but I understand the need to take a photo a day is helpful in pushing through the month, welcome aboard

I found out what makes the Computar Bokeh that "funky"... its 3 aperture blades! The triangle seems to stretch and form the highlights in an unique way

Theme day reminders are in. Sorry for the delay on this. First theme day of the month is the 5th (tomorrow), and the theme is "circles."

The local pentax distributor had a sale on and my purchases arrived yesterday, they had some old lens adapters and lens caps hanging around and so I ordered a couple, still dusty from 20 years waiting for me to get them. Packaging from lots of different eras here. Oh and the 50mm arrived too

All caught up for now! Unfortunately, processing time isn't widely abundant for me, so I have to do it in chunks. Days 1-4 completed.

Back home for a few days. The work week did not allow for much shooting, more like scouting out a few locations, just missed the blue hour in one of my favorite spots, too.
Today allows me an opportunity to capture rocketry in a very scenic spot, so I'm hoping to have some images worth posting when I return tonight.

Bah! Just finished editing a few pictures to cover the last few days and the laptop decides that it doesn’t want to live anymore. Battery has died and charger is in work. I know the battery is on its way out, which costs £149 by the manufacturer to replace, so I think a new laptop might be on the cards as a joint Birthday/Christmas expenditure over the next few months.

Uploaded entries for 5th, 6th and 7th. Bear in mind that there's already albums for the 8th and 9th, I've just dropped them down the list sorry folks!
