Finding faces in the strangest places...

Hi Everyone!

I've had this idea for a while, and I couldn't find a thread doing this already, so here goes.

This thread is for images of things that look like faces, remind you of faces, but aren't actually faces! The "faces" can be human or animal, and can be from natural or manufactured sources. But they cannot be actual faces, or pictures of faces, or sculptures of faces. It has to be found, not something you've made to resemble a face. It shouldn't be painted, or put together in Photoshop, for example ( unless it's something like a stitched panorama of a very big face).

Humans are pattern recognizing, pattern creating creatures. Being able to spot faces in particular had (and no doubt, still has) survival value, but our propensity to spot such patterns generates a lot of false positives. We see faces in clouds, in oil stains, in toast....It is these false positives I'm interested in showcasing in this thread. Whimsical or scary, realistic or stylized, human or otherwise; if it makes you think "FACE," let's see it!

Here's one to start this off. With any luck, you'll see the "faciness" of it. I'll have more to add soon, and I hope some of you will add some too.

Here we go! My first found face is this one:

Very cool idea for a thread.
And if looks like Simon Cowell, it would be American Pareidolia.

I'll find my way out.....

I actually did add pareidolia to the list of keywords for the thread.

Sleeping bird:

I didn't "see" this until I was looking at my pictures later, rather than when I was taking it.
