I'm in. I've been saving the FA 100/2.8 macro for the darkest month as I'm anticipating lots of indoor shots.
I've only had that beastie a couple of months and it rarely leaves my K3ii. it's an awesome and addictive lens!

I think I just surpassed you in this regard but wasn't much better... I'll try and get in a couple more before the end of the month but dark mornings and dark afternoons make indoor shooting the most likely option for me, which is obviously limiting.

I'm in, by the way. Again, unsure with what as I've another two lenses on their way to me after offing a couple... Should both be here by the end of the week so will likely be a toss up between the 100mm f/2.8 Macro WR, one of the two lenses currently whizzing to me... the Jupiter-9 perhaps? Maybe the M-50/1.4... Damn decisions.

I'm going with the FA 100 macro so it would be interesting to see if the newer version is any better. I think it's meant to be the same optical formula but I might be wrong.

Bear in mind you're also a better photographer than I, so I'd do a disservice in the head-to-head. But yes, I'm pretty certain you're right re: optical formula.

You are too kind! You don't take a bad shot yourself. I'm thinking that it's going to be an indoor macro sort of month especially if we keep getting record rainfall here. Luckily my pretend studio space is back up and running following some building work as I've been missing it.

Awh, shucks! In seriousness, thank you for the kind words! I am 100% amateur and loving it! I'll need to find some interesting indoorsy things to take snaps of... with whichever lens I end up using...

I just discovered that the lens I am using in december, my *takes a deep breath* Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar “Vorwahlspringblenden” 50mm f2.8 is as old as me it, like me, first saw light of day in 1958! How cool is that! Now I am REALLY looking forward to next month

I’m in - with the last (ever??) of my M42 months/lenses: Soligor 35/2.8. I’ve Singled it before: in April and November 2014, and August 2015.

I’ll be interested to see how I find it now

I join the game with my FA 35mm f/2. Easier than the 100mm in small and dark rooms.

I'll portably use this M50mm f4 Macro I picked up. It stops down to f32 and I have some off camera lighting I can use. Beats freezing in the dark outside.

I've definitely missed playing. How long it's been since I played? I don't know, days and months I've been sick, run into other days. But I'll be back one of these months and play again with my good friends, and perhaps make some new friends in the long run.

To my USA friends, Happy Thanksgiving!! .
