Joining slightly late this month, after a dismal November. I was working in Aberdeen for three weeks and then in Ireland for a week with no opportunities for taking pictures. I'll be in Aberdeen again this month, but should be able to get some shots taken around that.
This month it's another run out for the Pentax M 50mm f2. It will be interesting to compare the shots I get on the K1 with the previous single-in which was on a K-S1.

Made a plan to finish my M primes in SIC project. If I don't take any silly off months, I'll be ready by the end of August 2020. In a way that would be nice, as I started this project in September 2017, thought at that time I didn't know I'd make this kind project out of it. I just wanted to know my lenses better, but then came the SIC fever and LBA

Sorry about my finnish. Made translation for the next years months to make the table easier to understand:

I have some midnight sun stuff coming in June, as I have trip to northern Finland and Norway planned, so reserved M35/2 there. No sunsets available while up there. Just constant 24/7 daylight. So no sunset or golden hour themes for June, please

One can live with any one of them, but M50/1.7 is my favorite. There are some cases where f1.4 or f4 is better, but overall f1.7 is the best.

The other one is more difficult. It's a battle between 85, 120, 150 and 300. Problem is that they are so different, that it's hard to say which one is favorite. 300 is hard to use sometimes and big to carry, but it has a special place in my heart and it does wonderful things wide open with K1ii, so I go with it.

Well 3 days in and I am liking it so far, I think the FAJ designation that came with some rather poor consumer lenses might be putting people off, sure it is no 15-30mm monster lens, however it came with my original *istD camera and I never remember thinking it was sub standard back then. The full frame ability is a nice bonus as well. Let's see how the month goes.......

We had a little rain lately so of course a tree immediately falls on the power lines which means road closed and no power/internet for the past couple days. Things were starting to get a little weird up here in the mountains. Our neighbor was blasting- I mean FULL ON rock concert volume- classic christmas music today.

Thanks, finally joined the group. My first group actually. Will be interesting to see if it has any effect on explore. So far none of my shots has been chosen.
