35mm f2.8 Macro Limited - find a good used copy, either SMC or HD....
I've just bought an M 35/2.8 which I hope will arrive in time for January. Not macro or limited but I'm hoping it will be fun. Also, it was much cheaper.

If it is the same configuration as the takumar it is a wonderful lens. Are you single-in-ing with it? It would really sing on your KP. 35mm is my favourite apsc lens

My KP and 35mm limited was pretty much all I used on a trip to Cadiz. The lens is stellar. I used it in the single in for October lovely lens. I have the smc and it only cost just over £200
I’ve had a good look through your Oct single in pictures and they are stunning!
Great price too, I’ll start putting some money aside I think!

On my way home, I passed near the Great Falls National Park, so I stopped and took a short hike with the SIC lens of the month, very happy withte results and I will do some catch-up posting. Afterwards, I stopped at Ace Photo in Virginia and going through the used lenses came across three copies of a Pentax F 100-300mm. One of the lenses featured a "Power Zoom" option that was interesting, but more motors, more chance of failure, so I stuck with the manual zoom, 0% zoom creep! I purchased the sharpest of the three for US $60 . There was also a Vivitar 2x TeleConverter in the cabinet with a mismarked price and the owner gave it to me for free! The store carries the GR III, and I checked it out. So much goodness is a small form, I think I have another camera to save my $$$ for now.

I'm thinking about singling with it next month if it turns out to be ok when it arrives. Tbh, I've never got on with the Tak 35.

Oooh, thanks its a lovely lens. The consensus is that the 31mm fa is even better, but its also twice the price and doesn't do macro. I love the 35mm

M35/2.8 is a good lens. I used it in SIC to finish my APSC and open my FF round last spring. Works great on both formats, thought I preferred FF user experience.

Still I'm selling mine, as I also have M35/2 and really have no need for both in real life.

I remember you using it and that was one of my reasons for wanting to give it a try when I saw one going cheap. I'm calling it a Christmas present to myself.

I have two, the tiny Auto Tak from 1959 and a later version. The later one (mid 70s) is a peach

I have a 28mm Manual lens, and my well-loved 40mm XS, and at least two 50mm, lenses, I just haven't felt the need to get a 31mm or a 35mm.

In all likelihood, I'll be using the used 100-300mm I just picked up for next SIC
