Originally posted by Tsuken I’ve identified an extra challenge for myself - one that will be ongoing. I’ve found I’d fallen into using P mode on the K-30, which I assume is same as “Auto” on the KP. Only very rarely did I shift into “hyper-Av” or “hyper-Tv” - despite the ability to do so forming my justification for leaving the camera in P.
Thus my challenge: I’ve put the camera in TAv. Sure, I’m not dealing with exposing manually (though I have set one of the function dial positions to exposure compensation), but I aim thereby to force myself to consider for every photo the appropriate shutter speed and aperture to capture the image I have “seen”.
Should be fun.
BEST lens, I reckon. I loves mine heaps and heaps (and even more so on the KP, I must say).
Try this
Av, rear dial = aperture, front dial set to exposure comp, top dial set to iso, exposure button set to exposure lock and back button focus. That took me round Cadiz

A two fish eye single in
that will be fun
I have hardly used mine and have no idea what I will get. I am rather looking forward to it
I am actually starting early. The 50mm has gone away and the 10-17 is coming out tomorrow. I have a decorated church to shoot. There may well be a few church shots as it lends itself rather well to that kind of thing

I now have the 17/4.0 FE, 28/2.0, 30/2.8, 135/2.5 and 200/2.5 - with serious eyes on a 85/1.8. Will the madness ever end?
No
I just bought a Fuji xe1and a pk adapter. I don't have any Ks but I have Ms, (50 +135mm) an A (35-80) and a couple of 3rd party k mount (tokina 28mm f2.8 and a fabulous Miranda (cosina) 28mm f2.8 macro). The idea of the Fuji is 1) cheap, £110 inc adapter, for days when I don't want to carry £1k+ worth of kit, & ii) old school rangefinder photography. Should be fun
