I have a gazillion nice travel photos, airplane/car/boatshow shots, other events and attractions images, etc. But, in this one, a few elements came together, and it says something. Ironically I'm an atheist...

ISO 250 with Pentax K5iis body and a Pentax DA 50-135mm lens, f8 aperture and a 10 second shutter speed.

Overholser Dam, Oklahoma City

I was going to reserve this pic for the architecture thematic, but came across this contest. The dam was built in 1918 on the North Canadian River to create a reservoir to provide a steady supply of drinking water for the OKC area. Since then it's been extended three times to create Overholser Lake for recreational purposes. The old pump house sits on top of the spillway, which was actively running due to a lot of rain from the previous week.

I guess I'll have to retract this, as I mistook the deadline as being the end of January OR 100 entries...
