Thanks again to Vincent for starting this thread and to all the posters who have shared their fine work. I found it interesting looking back over previous years as well - these "best of" threads together make a wonderful archive. I agree with Noel's word - inspirational. I have also appreciated the insight into people's lives - thank you all for opening up to this community.
I didn't get to travel this year so all these are within a few hours of home (in country Victoria, Australia). I got a new KP in January and it has become my workhorse, even though I still have the K-3 and K-S2. Also got a lot from the new-to-me red-ring DA 15 Ltd.
1. A serendipitous moment. Walking on the beach with K-S2 + DA 18-135 when the storm rolled in. Didn't have my tripod so I used the longest exposure I thought I could manage handheld, 1/4th second. After a few shot, bingo! Didn't get zapped either.
2. My first attempt at PS, with the KP + DA 18-135. This and the previous were my only ever explores on Flickr.
3. KP + DA 55-300 PLM. Not technically perfect, but it tells a story.
4. A vindication of the KP's SR. 0.8 secs handheld. KP + DA 20-40 Ltd.
5. K-S2 and mind-controlling DA 15 Ltd.
6. KP + DA 15 Ltd.
7, Sunrise over Corner Inlet and Wilson's Prom with the KP + FA 43 Ltd.
8. Rainbow Lorikeets with the KP + DA 55-300 PLM. Good resolution and nice bokeh for a consumer zoom
9. Merino lambs. K-3 + FA*300 f4.5.
10. KP + DA 55-300 PLM.
My thanks to all of you for continuing to make PF such an enjoyable and informative place. Happy shooting in 2020.
