It has been some time since I visited this park. It might be time to go back.

Here's my take. I've never been to Bryce Canyon, so I'm just hoping the colours are more or less accurate. Next to some sharpening, and adding some light, I've also upped the blueish hue a bit so as to better convey the cold. I'm assuming it was pretty cold anyway at those snowy heights in March.

Utah I have never been to. I obviously should have We did visit the Grand Canyon some years... some decades ago.

I thought the colours ended up looking quite cinematic so I tried a crop to fit.

I'm throwing in a b&w version as well even though I think it bacame rather too busy.

First attempt at PP on my new electronic computing device using On1 PhotoRaw 2020. I've not calibrated my screens yet, so I may be a bit out with the colours.

I want to thank each of you who participated in this challenge. I always find it difficult to select a host for the next challenge, there is always such a wide range of results, from dramatic to subdued and also black and white. Each with their own merits.

scphoto - Welcome to Pentax Forums and to the post prcessing challenge. You started us off with a B&W version nicely executed.

mariwalt - You were able to keep the colors of the red rock balanced nicely with the whites of the snow and greens of the trees.

Bruce Clark - An interesting choice, setting the mountains and sky in the background to B&W and thereby drawing the attention into the canyon foreground in color.

tmlawes - You choice to retain more of the sky than others and have a nice balance of the colors.

jmacias - You chose a portrait crop and focus the attention to the canyon.

noelcmn - The most dramatic entry with vibrant colors.

lidy - A well balanced take on the image.

tuggie 76 - A nicely balanced image with a slightly brighter look.

todd - Two B&W entries, each with a slightly different feel. The first showing the expanse of the scene and the second more focused on the formations in the foreground.

savoche - A color and a B&W, both well done.

Tas - These challenges are always a good place to try out the new "toys". A nice image.

It wasn't easy, but I must select the host for the next challenge and I will bestow that honor on savoche for the color entry.

This was my result:
