Very easy to think monochrome on a gray day

---------- Post added 02-03-20 at 10:45 PM ----------

On this one I was not thinking black and white, I took several different frames of this area and this was the last one I took, I was looking at it tonight and was thinking it may look better in black and white.

I obviously don't know what the color one looks like...but this does look great in mono.

Thought I'd do an old building today... but ended up doing a drop Kookie.... he was on the ledge and dropped for a skink.

Kookaburra drops from the old brick wall,
Eating all the skinks he can see,
Stop, Kookaburra, Stop,
Leave some skinks for me.

Todays shot.... K1 and k 50/1.2 at f2. A insect home at the community garden.

This is a soc jpeg. Have set jpeg to B&W with some fine sharpening. Shot in square crop.... only edit was a bit of added vignette.

And lightroom/dxo film conversion... I did this before looking at above soc Jpeg

This one's pretty cool too. It took my brain a while to comprehend what it was looking at (missed your caption at first) but I like all the circles.

Feb 6 - Rotini

Thundering and pouring down rain at the moment so it is an inside shot today. Went to the kitchen and found some rotini.
