In the interest of pan-Anglospheric unity, I will participate in the March 2020 Bay-Tak 135 Single-In event.
The closest I can get to that event is with the K 135/2.5, or SMC Takumar 85/1.8

But I think I'll stick with Plan A

I'm quietly hoping to receive something in the next few days. If it doesn't arrive by Friday I might have to start with an older, near equivalent lens, like the DA* 50-135 or DA* 60-250....
So new 70-210 preordered you have... It would be nice to see it in action thought I'm not in the target group

Hm, I was thinking of the same lens!
Perhaps I'll go with my Rikenon XR 70-150 f/4, on Av so wide open only? It's been a while since I played this event, hope I keep it up better than I used to
Don't panic, you can't be any worse than me!

After a long hiatus, I’m in for March. I think I’ll try the M 40-80 macro this month.

Well, I'm hesitating. There are several factors in the game. I've been crazy-busy at work recently and it won't change in March. Moreover, I've been busy with the things I don't want to be busy with, which is kinda intimidating and doesn't help in a "happy shooting". I rebuilt my analog camera set (after selling it off last year, which turned out to be a huge mistake!) and I would like to shoot some film as well. I miss my da21 but don't want to SiC it as there are still lenses in the queue before starting another round. So... I don't know.
On the other hand, days are longer, the weather is better and A-135/2.8 has been lurking at me from the drawer for the past few months...

I could be tempted to join the 135mm club with the Jupiter 11A, but I used that a few months ago. I have just acquired a Pentax D FA 28-105mm as a carry around lens, so might go for that. Alternatively, there are a couple of projector lenses which have been looking at me recently and the adaptors for fitting them to focusing helicoids have recently arrived. I guess it will be a last minute decision on the day.

Nice lens, I damaged mine, I need to see it if can be repaired. The even thinner DA 40mm XS is a very good back up lens until that time, both on APS-C and on the K-1.

135mm, eh..... nothing close here - 85 or 90mm.. or even 105mm, or skip all the way out to 150mm....

I have quite a few 135mm lenses, including the Tak bayonet 2.5. But I’m partial to putting the 21 through it’s paces since I just acquired it.

The 40 Limited is a really nice lens, I enjoy mine, especially on the KP. Actually, come to think of it, I’m a bit overweight in that area now having the DA 20-40, 21, 40 and 43. Maybe I should start looking at the 15 and 70...

I have literally done the same, received this week. Plus a trip to Tenby, West Wales, the end of March would be good to have a walk-around lens there... so I'm on the fence.

I'm also tempted by a recently-acquired M85/2... DECISIONS!
