They are very selective about thier food and it changes as they grow. I believe this behavior developed to eliminate competition as broods born at different times will be using a different food source.

I'm unsure of how many of you good folk are still subscribed to this thread, but I want to thank one and all for your participation.

Jim's ( @Parallax ) suggestion to start this thread had such a positive affect by channeling fear into an outpouring of humo(u)r at a time in our history when it was sorely needed. The imagination and ingenuity shown by you all was both impressive and inspirational. Thinking about how to be " Silly " gave me a rest from the doom and gloom. Dark days and thoughts were brightened immensely by the images and captions in this thread. Thanks again.

I had another photo, but was probably not appropriate for a PG rated thread . Carl can be very rude at times
