I'm here. Also using a DFA645 55/2.8 on the 645Z. Owned the Z for a month and the 55 arrived today. What better way to learn new equipment? Hope I can figure out how the picture posting works. It seems complicated. Shooting a picture every day but probably posting in batches, as time allows.

Thanks,
barondla

Welcome @barondla ! I sincerely hope you enjoy the new kit

You will find a thread created in THIS SUB-FORUM each day of the month. Copy the BB code for your externally hosted image into the corresponding daily thread, so we can use the link to go to your host website for comments. Most of us use Flickr, but any other image storage website can be made to work.

You may not get it right first time - it certainly took me a while. Any questions, or general discussion, can be posted in this thread.

I intend to play again in April I am working from home at the moment with all that is going on so in a strange way I may actually get more opportunities to find an image than I would do normally.

But............Mmmmmmmm

I was going to single my long-suffering FA80-320mm that I have owned since new (with MZ-30 - camera heaven now) but with all this 55ish ness going down perhaps I could change that to a Super Tak 55? Neither have been singled before.

What do you all think?

I decided to go with the sigma 17-50/2.8. I feel weird, though - it's my first SiC with zoom and not a prime...

Well, I'm decided; I'll run with the Tak 55mm. I think it'll be more difficult with things as they are but it's a learning process

Funny, the very first challenge was supposed to combat LBA. Both of us missed that goal .
Thanks,

I'm in again this month.
I haven't used the new to me HD-DA70Ltd very much since it arrived last fall so I think I'll spend April getting better acquainted. Now to figure a series for the month.
