Weekly Challenge# 76 Working men and women

Weekly Challenge #76-- Working men and women
Another fun contest. Here is the theme for this weeks challenge: Working men and women.

With the pictures last week of the working oilmen I thought it would be great to see some of your best working men and women photos and or your best photos of fall foliage. This weeks contest runs through Next Tuesday, November 4rd. Winners will be posted Wednesday November 5th.

Have fun. As always, here are the contest rules....
_______________________________________
1. Post ONE photo (max 1000x1000).
2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme. It can be color or B&W, your choice.
3. You can offer as much or as little additional information as you wish, but if you have to explain it, it probably doesn’t communicate what you are trying for.
4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The judge will pick the WINNERS and chose 1 of them to be the judge for the next week.
6. This challenge runs for 7 days plus a day for the judge to choose the winners.

In quebec city

i tried to get the right angle so i kept hovering around this guy. Having the Sigma 10-20 aroused attention from all the other photogs with their kit lenses, they kept trying to follow me around, hahaha

my mom ended up in the background by accident.

Fruit stand

Photo taken around midnight on a lonely (at that moment) street in San José, Costa Rica, where you will find fruit stands and all sorts of "street vendors" in every corner. As you can imagine, this sort of business is not "closeable" for afterhours, so there is someone there 24 hrs taking care of business.

Shot with my istD and FA200/2.8 handheld at ISO 1600 (f/2.8 - 1/30 sec), resting camera on steering wheel through my car's windshield.

The Daily Grind

Workers entering the plant at 5:45 in the morning. This was one of my first shots using my DA50-200. Sorry to say but my crappy software stripped the EXIF data back when I took this early in 2006.
