Looking through these the Good, Bad, and Ugly theme plays in my head. Someone put Clint Eastwood in his blanket poncho in one!
There you go.

Went with some tones and textures and a 3:4 crop.

I couldn't resist either. The poncho is best showcased in Tuggie's version, so I tried to find a different poncho picture. Don't know what happened to Eastwood's gun though!

Gosh, Glenn, your picture is popular! You should host this challenge more often really!

I have been honored to host quite a few of these over the years.

I always find it difficult to select a host for the next challenge and make comments. I chose poorly for a closing date for this one as I have just completed a long work shift and am quite tired. I thought of postponing until tomorrow, but I have an obligation after work tomorrow. I don't want to delay the next challenge, so I hope you will forgive me as I will not make comments on each, but just select the next host. I truly appreciated the different approaches that were displayed here. Each has its own merit and appeal, but I will select todd to host the next challenge. I liked the choice of a panorama crop, sharpening and retaining the details of the mountains while using the front saguaro in a tight crop. Well done and congratulations todd! Well done everyone! Thank you for participating.

Sorry to hear that you're so busy; hope that it's got nothing to do with the coronavirus and that you're okay!

Thanks for taking the time to judge. I think you've made a good choice!

@todd: congrats!

Thanks Glenn! Another fun round with great entries. Personally I would have chosen one of the good, bad and ugly shots, which get auto-bonus ticks for reminding me of one of the greatest movies of all time.

Hopefully your busy-ness slows down someday soon Glenn, so we can meet up! We are neighbors now after all! Speaking of which, the next round is ready to go.

I also liked the panorama best. The way it conveys the expanse seemed to have the most emotional effect on me. The color seemed to pour outside the photo so it worked more for me than the b&w.
It is always interesting to me how different edits convey so different a viewing experience.

Thanks for hosting Glenn, a great image to work with and good choice on your pick.

Hope to see plenty of people for the next challenge. I've had a Bo Peep at the image todd has shared and I think it will be another corker.

Thank you for the concern. Nothing to do with the corona virus. The past several years have been quite demanding for me, but I am not complaining as it is hopefully getting me set up for retirement.
