And how are you guys doing with your lenses this month? I'm getting a bit bored with mine (MC Kaleinar 100/2.8; M42 mount).
My 80-320 is a struggle but it's not really meant for this - plus I can't bring myself to sell it anyway having had it since MZ30 days. I generally find an image I'd like but can't due to the MFD. It's great as a going to the zoo/wildlife park/lightweight hike with the kid/grandkids type lens so I can forgive the shortcomings

The FA 77mm on a K-1 is an unbeatable combination, so no complaints from that side of things. However, I have either had no time, or no inspiration, so I really haven't shown it off to best effect every day.

Well, the Macro Takumar 50 is light weight and lots of fun. It's perfect for lockdown as there is always something small to shoot.

The Helios 44M is a fun lens, although the temptation to shoot everything at f2 is almost impossible to resist. On this lens the focus is very stiff - occasionally unscrewing the lens from the adaptor. I may try to re-grease the helicoid at some point.
My only problem is that I'm getting fed up of taking pictures of garden flowers. Looking forward to getting back to the office and the riverside\industrial themes.

Loving the M120 So shooting goes well. Little complain on the weather we've had this May. Commenting seems to be my bottle neck this month. Hard to find energy for it.

Happy snapper with the M120/2.8. It's a focal length and focussing distance combination I seem to enjoy whereas last month 77mm didn't seem to gell with the subjects around me. And I've largely keep it at F4 which is unusual for me - I tend to be an F8 landscape person.

Lightroom tells me I've already taken 635 images with this lens mtd.

Having complained a bit on my lens I realized today that it is pretty good wide-open. Ok, it's not a "real" wide-open as the aperture mechanism is somehow screwed up, but it's just one click above 2.8 and before 4 (3.5 probably?). As far as I remember, some of my other lenses don't improve that much with just one aperture click.

I find that the Tamron isn't nearly as bad as it's reviews. It is a bit soft wide open at the long end, but that quickly improves. I guess full frame is just much more forgiving than the aps-c camera's the reviewers used. Softness wide open also makes it hard to nail focus. That may have contributed as well.

Hmm so far so good with the 24-50mm, I am using the A series this month and have found the ok button and zooming in on live view to really help with getting focus right on this lens. I have the F version as well and might try that on another month. The quality and rendering is great and the focal length of this zoom works well with the 24mm my favourite.

I’m enjoying the DA50-200 - and getting birds and trolleys.

I’m just not getting round to uploading anything, but I’ve got photies every day, and mostly something I’m pleased with.

So yeah, past the midway point and still happy days. Yesterday evening was the first time the question of what to use next month came to mind.

Welcome back!

I forgot the theme, again. This month has been too crazy for consistency.

Had I known you were making an appearance I would have made a greater effort. Maybe I'll have a crack at the Belfie theme for the 22nd
