going to be a ~24mm month for June?
I might jump into the wide-angle territory with my new purchase. Initially, I was thinking of 70-210 but I might switch the order and leave the longer zoom for July.

Hi Chris, I felt I needed to share something from my recent purchase with you. I just received a 75-150mm M series zoom and in the box was the M series lens and accessory booklet. I was reading through and found a passage that I thought you might need to know about.
"Interchangeable lenses are economical, if you were to purchase a wide-angle and telephoto lens in addition to the standard lens of your camera, you would effectively own three cameras: a wide-angle lens camera, a standard lens camera and a telephoto lens camera. Each additional lens you purchase is equivalent to purchasing an additional camera. Thus, interchangeable lenses offer the user considerable savings"
Pentax booklet 07/1982
Great advice then, as now, resistance is useless..............

Y'all lens addicts have me inspired. I just bought my very first, one and only star series lens (FA* 24/2) on eBay. Should be here in time to Single in June. :-)
Congratulations, a great lens that I am sure you will enjoy, I really like mine, I look forward to seeing what you produce with it.

Damn, I didn't think of it that way... That changes a lot! I need to rethink my attitude

I could join with the A70-210/4 in July, too. I've barely used it on the K-1...

How does this work? The more expensive the lens the more you save, right? The new DFA*85 sounds like a deal

I'm not sure what I'll do in June - going back to work on the 1st - don't know for how long yet.

Anyway ... inspired (?) by one of Sara's comments on the other days Poppy image; here's a quick jpeg from LR.

Dunno which to take for a run out. SMC K55/1.8 or Carl Zeiss Distagon T* 2.8/25 alternating on the K-1 or K-3? or something a bit rarer like the SMC A 100/2.8 Macro?

the Distagon 25/2.8 has been a revelation for me this month... pretty much dooming my future expendable income...

Aha, thought you might like it. I was cleaning out the attic the other day and found some Amateur Photographer magazines which led me into the Pentax fold in 2008 with a K20D. Amongst them is a professional review of our favourite 25 I'll scan up and send you a link via PM.

I could do that too. Mine hasn't seen much use on the K1 either...

It's okay, your new lens will be just like a new camera. Imagine that it's a K1...
